Previous productions for BOVTS include Wilda & The Winter Whirlwinds, Sammy & The Sea Morgans and The Pied Piper. This year she will be writing and directing an autumn and a winter show for their second years to tour.

Liz also directed The Oak, The Ash and the Standing Stones for Tidal Tales Collective in 2023 and is currently collaborating on a new production with them for 2025.

She is also the director of Bristol Old Vic's community group Oi Polloi who will be working towards Frankenstein to perform in the Weston Studio this March.

In 2013 she set up The Story Cellar as a storytelling workshop facilitation company and has worked with thousands of children across North Somerset and Bristol.  She also directs and runs workshops for children through Travelling Light Theatre Company and Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol. She can also sometimes be found storytelling in venues such as Arnolfini and the Bristol Beacon.

Story is at the heart of our work and we aim to create an exploratory rehearsal room where ideas can be played with to develop exciting new work. Nothing is set in stone as we stay playful and strengthen our impro skills.

We aim to create a brave space where all participants can feel welcome and free to explore, allowing the process to be equally as important as the product for all those involved.

We will always help our actors to find their story and experience ingenious ways in which to share it. Hoping to help people to love themselves and the stories they are made of.
